Justin Lockamy

Attorney
Commercial Real Estate

Justin Lockamy was born and raised in rural southeastern North Carolina. For a decade prior to joining Lee Kaess, Justin was a partner at a firm in Sampson County practicing in the areas of real estate transactions and litigation, estate administration, property tax foreclosures, incompetency and other special proceedings, and education law. In this work, he represented several local government agencies.

Justin has long pursued several interests in work, education, and extracurricular life. After several years working in informal science education, he attended law school, during which time he served as executive editor for the Nebraska Law Review, wrote articles on education law for the Nebraska Association of School Boards, promoted documentaries concerning the Native American experience through VisionMaker Media, and clerked for the NC DEQ Office of General Counsel. In his former practice, Justin had the privilege to serve on various boards in the community and was also active in local theater. Justin believes his varied interests and background serve clients by helping them find practical solutions that can benefit all concerned.
